Shelly Simoneau is an author, storyteller and teacher currently living in Topeka, Kansas. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Arts in Education, and has taught in Kansas public schools for the past 20 years.
Shelly recently published The Cows Came Running and the Horses Did Too!, Wash Creek, Daddy Was A Carpenter, and Snake Tree. Her children’s books are inspired by childhood memories of growing up in the farming community of Wilsey, Kansas. She is currently working on her next Grasshopper Bubblegum.
Shelly’s storytelling style has been molded from lessons learned throughout her lifetime. She delivers a variety of character-building, inspirational, engaging stories for children and adults of all ages at libraries, schools, and special events.
